I was sharing with my staff yesterday and indicated to them that we did not have enough problems. Problems, not enough problems? Have i lost my mind entirely? What happens when we are running in high gear, the engine is purring like a kitten, no pot holes in the way, and the traffic is minimal? What happens to me is autopilot! The lack of problems are reflected in the lack of vision. You need problems to keep your vision from being impaired. Problems keep us creative, on the ragged edge of adventure, and our heart, mind, soul, and strength tuned into Christ.
Got any problems? Problems give us vision! Problems open our eyes and lives to the God possibilities. Let me encourage you not to run from your problems, but to embrace them so that you can discover the continued vision God has for your life, relationships, calling/vocation, and mission.
Shalom,
Chuck
